Why this matters

Every quote total is built on this. Getting it wrong doubles or omits the federal rebate.

How are the prices in your price list written?

Both are normal. We only need to know which one, so the rebate is counted exactly once.

Before any rebates

Your price list shows the full price of the system. We take the federal STC rebate and any state rebate off for the customer.

Already has the federal rebate off

Your price list is the 'after discount' price most retailers advertise. We will not deduct federal STCs again, only state rebates.

Rebate value and quote validity

You can change all of this later in Retailer Settings.
